This iconic digital watch, boasting the first-ever automatic calendar function, made its debut half a century ago. The TRN50-2A commemorates five decades of Casio’s steadfast dedication to originality and innovation.

Reflecting on this milestone, Tom Kato, Chairman of Casio America, remarked, “The introduction of the Casiotron in 1974 marked a pivotal moment in timekeeping history. Not only was it the inaugural digital watch with an automatic calendar, but it also heralded a revolutionary transformation in the industry by integrating digital technology into personal timepieces.
